Meet Jim Hoyt

Jim has been in the construction industry for many years. Starting out in the labor end of it, he has hands on experience working with a large variety of components. From framing materials to detailed finish work, Jim understands the many facets of the building project and how they go together to effect the outcome of the job.

Jim has several credentials such as building trade certificates, contractor licenses, and Insurance adjusting experience with State Farm.

Jim has managed and worked for large scale roofing and restoration companies; coordinating and scheduling multiple trades involved with multiple projects.

As a homeowner, Jim understands the needs, value, and budgets, homeowners work with and demand. He strives to find the right combination of style, product, and service to fulfill his customers expectations.

The south metro rep.

Steve has been a long time resident of Centennial, CO. for over 20years. A dedicated family man and military veteran. Steve has spent several years in both the installation of custom cabinetry and in job-site management for large scale commercial contracting companies.

Steve has great insight when it comes to design options and building techniques used to create great solutions for desired concepts. You can count on Steve to show up, communicate, and manage your project to completion.

HB Contracting did a great job in installing our deck and we would hire them again. Jim knows what he is doing. He’s respectful, communicates well, and helped guide us through the process in selecting materials and tailoring the project to our needs. It involved multiple disciplines of work in which HB assembled a team to complete the demolition, concrete work, electrical, and drywall/painting. HB’s crew installed the deck, stairs, railing, post & stair lighting, and they were able to remove our window to install the patio french door to the deck. The work was completed in a timely manner and the they cleaned up after themselves. We are very happy with how it turned out.

We had the HB team add a covered roof, full deck and a beautiful privacy wall. They provided Excellent service. The skill level of the HB team is over the top. Friendly and courteous. Service was fantastic. I am so glad we went with HB. I would recommend them for any project outdoors!

HB Contracting replaced our existing deck that was in bad shape. We are very happy with the new deck!! Jim was great to work with through the full process listening to the issues we had with our old deck and ensuring we would be fully happy with the workmanship his team provided for our new deck. He was able to provide a solution that worked with our brick exterior and brick columns to keep the visual appeal. We also love the new waterproof underdecking and can better use the patio below. Jim and his crew did a great job on our deck project. From removing the old deck to building the new one, everything was done professionally and with quality in mind. Jim suggested a railing system much better than the one we had selected ourselves and it turned out to be an excellent product choice. They answered any questions and explained the process as they went along when asked. When the deck was finished everything was cleaned up nicely. A pleasant experience from being to end. Thanks Jim.

When I called Jim , he was out within the week to give an estimate on the replacement of my decks. He was most accommodating with squeezing my project into his schedule and from the day he came out for estimate until completion was no more than 4 weeks. I was very impressed with the work and am very happy with the results. Everyone who has seen my decks are very impressed. I would highly recommend him.

Jim built a railing system around our deck and stairs as well as some repairs on our fence. Also some concrete work. He is very knowledgeable, professional and reliable.
